Since more than 75 years Shanghai based Yipin Pigments Co. Ltd. is operating in the pigment industry and is rated as one of the biggest manufactures of iron oxide pigments worldwide. In the German-speaking center of Europe as well as in the new East European member countries of the EU Hameln based Yipin Pigments GmbH with its shareholders Ha-Be Betonchemie GmbH & Co. KG and REMY & Co.KG is responsible for the sales and distribution.

The production programme includes powdery iron oxide-, chrome oxide- and anti-corrosion pigments at the production side in Shanghai and liquid iron oxide-, chrome oxide-, cobalt- and carbon colours at the production side in Hameln. With its long experience in the field of colouring concrete goods, ready mix concrete and concrete pre-cast elements, Ha-Be Betonchemie became a competent and reliable partner in all questions of application- and dosing technology.

Due to tightening environmental laws in China it is expected, that increasingly small and medium sized manufacturers of iron oxide pigments will close down which might lead to a shortage in the world market. The foundation and equity investment of Ha¬Be Betonchemie GmbH & Co. KG is a strategic decision to secure a long-term and sustainable raw material supply with enhanced quality requirements and new potentials in the field of research and product development.
